Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. The majority of her early years listening to classical music and boleros of the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music and old classical pieces. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she began more intensive singing lessons by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. While a young student and professional, she sang with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She has been involved with a number of local organizations, both as a teacher and performer because of her love for art and music. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
