Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. In the late 80s when she started her acting career, and was popular with the role of Tezaab which she played with an established actor Anil Kapooor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. In Mumbai the city she was born within a middle class family parents. As a child, she began to learn about age, she began to study dance. At the age of 16 she started acting, and suffered for several years due to the fact that her films at first were unsuccessful. However, she eventually achieved success and went on to become one of the leading actresses on the Indian film business. After her marriage the actress took time off from acting until she returned. More recently she played an integral role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit has been nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India was awarded to Dixit. In addition, she is acknowledged for her work in the field of charity.
