Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. She was born in Worthington in Ohio. She dropped out of high school after her parents split up to move to Los Angeles to live with her mother. Grace reprised Shannon's role as Shannon in Lost for two episodes, including the finale of the series. Grace appeared on Californication's 6th season which ran from 2013 until 2014. The actress plays Faith an actress in a group and as a muse to the stars who captures the eye of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. She is part of Gyllenhaal's family and is the elder sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in the films of her father as an adolescent. Along with her brother, she appeared on the screen in Donnie Darko (2000). Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind which was released in 2002 as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal's leading roles in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, as well as Sherrybaby (a film) earned her nominations for Golden Globe Awards.
